The Rosita Cocktail
The history of the Rosita Cocktail is a slightly unknown one. Gary Regan released an article on the drink in 2005, who got it from a man named Terry Sullivan. Sullivan was also asked about it by Gary, in which, when they finally found out the recipe's origin, they jokingly found that Sullivan had referred it from Regan's own book, "The Bartender's Bible." (Difford's Guide). The original recipe was finally rediscovered in a 1974 edition of the "Mr. Boston Official Bartender's Guide."
- 1 ½ oz Reposado Tequila
- ½ oz Sweet Vermouth
- ½ oz Dry Vermouth
- ½ oz Campari
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into an Aztec Double Rocks Glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lemon peel and enjoy!
