Mojito Cocktail

 This refreshing rum cocktail has earned its place as one of the best-known cocktails in the world!

Ingredients:

• 2 oz White Rum
• Juice of 1 lime (freshly squeezed)
• ½ oz Simple Syrup (1:1)
• 4 – 6 mint leaves
• Soda water

Combine the mint and simple syrup in a collins glass. Gently muddle the mint into the syrup, pressing the mint leaves to release their oils. Add the lime juice and rum, and stir to combine. Add ice and stir again to chill. Top with soda water and add a sprig of fresh mint for garnish. Enjoy!

*Note – the classic Mojito cocktail has many variations, so feel free to adjust the proportions to your taste. Some people also prefer granulated sugar rather than simple syrup, but we like the smooth texture that simple syrup lends to the drink.
